Location: Basildon, Essex

Hours: Full-time

Salary: From £50,000 per year

Overview of the company and role: 

Responsibilities:

• Management of a small team, to include work scheduling & assisting with queries / problem solving, this will involve having extensive knowledge in all aspects of accounts department.
• Manage the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual management regulatory reporting information
• Preferably be CIMA or ACCA qualified, minimum qualification AAT level 3 or 4
• Comprehensive knowledge in regards to VAT to include the ability to review & draft quarterly vat returns, identify & correct vat errors where applicable for final review.
• Experience with Export Sales - desirable
• Excellent IT skills particularly with MS Excel
• Must have prior experience with Sage 50
• Must be an experienced proactive Manager with the ability to prioritise tasks & workloads to meet deadlines.

Skills required:

• Preferably be CIMA or ACCA qualified
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and Sage 50
• Management skills
