Key duties/responsibilities:

• Working closely with Richard Lewis, MD at Avon Metals, and the commercial team.  
• Effectively develop new relationships with metal scrap merchants across your territory via phone and face to face.
• Continue to build strong relationships with existing merchants through communication, negotiations site visits and regular calls.
• Manage your own diary, and research potential trading opportunities.
• Cold call potential traders, introducing yourself.

Key Requirements:

• Experienced working within the metal recycling industry, either as a trader or operative looking to step up into a trader position, or an experienced negotiator from a sales/ purchasing background who wants to work in a fast-paced environment, growing industry.
• Great negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage your own diary.
• Self-starter.
• Very driven.
