Wednesday 11 March

The British Metals Recycling Association, in collaboration with MET Academy, is offering a refresher course for Technically Competent Managers whose continuing competency assessment is due for renewal. This will be held on Wednesday 11 March at the BMRA offices in Huntingdon.

The course is a proven way to ensure you are up to date, to ask questions and to brush up on exam technique before the real thing. There will be plenty of opportunity for participants to consolidate their learning experience by answering questions in the style of the CIWM/WAMITAB Continuing Competence Test. It is also a great chance to meet and catch up with others in the industry.  Course content:

  • Generic Test Syllabus: including Environmental Permitting, Scrap Metal Dealers Act, Duty of Care, Hazardous Waste, Discharge Consents and Health & Safety.
  • Sector Specific Test Syllabus: covering the syllabus for the Metal Recycling, ELV and WEEE sector-specific tests.
