From a new R&D facility and growing team to equipment upgrades and preparations for Hillhead 2026, the business continues to invest in scalable metal separation solutions that are robust, efficient and tailored to meet the evolving demands of the recycling sector.

R&D facility - nearing completion
Construction of our new research and development facility is progressing well. Once operational, it will provide a dedicated space for live testing, technical refinement and product development. A live camera feed will enable customers to observe their own material samples being processed in real time, improving transparency, reducing the need for travel and lowering the associated carbon footprint.

This investment underscores BlakerTech’s commitment to supporting both domestic and international customers with robust, scalable equipment designed to meet complex separation challenges.

New offices - completion due Q4 2025
As part of a wider infrastructure upgrade, new office space is also under construction and due for completion in Q4 2025. These facilities will accommodate the company’s growing team and support closer collaboration across departments.

Appointment of national sales manager
BlakerTech recently welcomed James Ryan as National Sales Manager. James brings valuable experience in technical sales and business development and is working across both BlakerTech and Blaker Engineering, another division of Blaker Group Ltd.
His appointment enhances the company’s ability to respond to new enquiries and provide tailored support to existing clients across the recycling and wider waste management sectors.

Customer sample testing in progress
The in-house team has been processing a wide variety of customer-supplied samples. These trials are helping clients assess how BlakerTech systems can improve recovery rates, reduce contamination and deliver measurable performance gains. Recent examples include the separation of fine-shredded aluminium from plastics.

Ongoing product refinement
Product updates continue across several key equipment lines, focusing on:

Website redesign underway
A new BlakerTech website is currently in development. The updated platform will offer a clearer view of the product range and improve usability for both new and returning visitors.

Designed around a user-driven experience, it will make learning about our products easier and more engaging, while also improving accessibility and making it simpler to get in touch.

Hillhead 2026 - confirmed
BlakerTech is pleased to confirm its participation at Hillhead 2026, for the third time running, the UK’s largest event for the quarrying, construction, and recycling sectors. The show will offer an opportunity to showcase new product developments and connect with industry partners.
