BMRA CEO James Kelly has issued advisory letter for members and employees to show if they are stopped.

British Metals Recycling Association (BMRA) has been advised that, once again, members and their employees are being challenged by police officers as they continue to trade.

To help members, we have issued an updated advisory letter from the BMRA CEO, James Kelly, for members to show to police officers should they or their employees be stopped. The document can also be used by employees to explain to neighbours why they are continuing to go to work and why the work that they do is important to keep theissUK economy going.

We would suggest that employees carry additional copies of the letter, which they can offer to leave with any one that stops them.
