BMRA is advising members that the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has now begun its inspection campaign targeting the waste and recycling industry.
BMRA has been advised that the emphasis for this year’s campaign will, once again, be on machinery, safety and workplace transport. Inspectors will also be targeting a number of catalytic converter recyclers. The three-month long campaign will see a host of unannounced inspections to assess all aspects of site management and the control of risk.
