What does your job involve?

Many things - or perhaps the easier question is what doesn’t it involve! Overall, I am responsible for the daily yard management - directing the team, liaising with management, organising

transport, material management, conducting risk assessments, visiting customers and site checks - plus more!

What is the hardest part of your job?

Challenges that can arise from leading a team and managing unexpected logistics with deliveries and materials within the space that we have.

What three things help you to do your job better?

Teamwork, overall support and appreciation.

What are you most proud of in your career?

My personal development throughout my career and the knowledge I have gained and passed on to my team through mentoring.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Having worked for the Rogers family from the age of 15, I have been encouraged to work hard, take pride in my work, save money and make something of myself.
