Alongside the Lifetime Achievement Award, BMRA will be presenting its YBMR Rising Star Award at its Annual Dinner on 14 November.

The Rising Star Award celebrates the invaluable input the younger generation has within their organisation and the wider industry.

The award will give a national industry platform to the recipient and will hopefully inspire others in the industry to work towards obtaining the award in the years to come.

Nominating an individual for the Rising Star Award is simple. Tell us the name of the individual, their job title, the BMRA member they represent, and in around 250 words, tell us why you believe that individual is worthy of receiving an award.

Not sure whether a colleague should be nominated? If they are displaying exceptional talent within the metals recycling industry, contributing significantly to their organisation and/or industry, inspiring colleagues around them or are already achieving excellence in their field, then they are worthy of a Rising Star nomination!

The deadline for nominations is Friday 19 September.

The judging panel comprising of the BMRA Board, as well as YBMR co-chairs, Hayley Mellor and Mitchell Garner, will select a winner.
