Role Synopsis

At Bunting, we play a vital role in multiple industries, serving as trusted partners to the food, pharmaceutical, plastics, general recycling, automotive recycling, mining, and printing sectors. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our European sales team and to support, generate lead new sales and opportunities.

The roles key deliverable is to achieve the company’s budgeted sales and profitability goals, by collaborating at all levels within the company, including management, sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, customers, and prospects, on all matters relating to the general separation product group, this role covers the entirety of the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be the customer’s expert on Bunting Magnetics general separation product portfolio and act as atrusted advisor
  • Ability to apply the sales process to varied selling situations and with different customers.
  • To identify and develop sales potential by effectively influencing general separation customers in order to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Use sales data to analyse market business trends to develop and execute a territory business plan to capitalise on current and future opportunities within the local market
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing potential new business, following through the sales process
  • Maintains existing customer’s use of Bunting magnetics General separation products
  • Discusses use and effect of products, using detail aids, literature, and promotional materials
  • Attends exhibitions and company meetings as required
  • Collaborate on marketing programmes by monitoring and providing accurate tracking, reporting and follow up to ensure a consistent and professional marketing campaign
  • Provide market feedback on competitor movements, product offering and risk to the bunting business and report back with product improvement and development ideas for the general separation market

Skills and experience:

  • Industry experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Excellent product and industry knowledge
  • Proven success and able to bring techniques and passion for best practice in this field.
  • Experience in magnetic product industry preferred
  • Previous experience dealing with food, pharmaceutical, plastics, liquids and granular processing plants

Essential:

  • Experience of using a CRM effectively & efficiently
  • A minimum of 5 years selling experience within a competitive market with industrial equipment
  • Ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team environment
  • Self-motivated, Enthusiastic, efficient and customer focused
  • Computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Able to apply Professional Selling Skills principles to all sales dialogues.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Able to undertake regular UK business travel covering a large geographical area
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Must hold a valid UK driving license.

Travel:

  • Expected to travel nationwide in the UK, with a potential requirement for occasional travel to the USA as required to support the business.
