Hours: 40 hrs per week

Salary: £30,000 to £33,000 subject to experience

Overview of the company and role:  Blaker has been in business since 1932. Specialising in undertaking repairs for the transport, manufacturing and recycling industries. We also produce equipment for the recycling industries especially metal recycling.

We are seeking a manual Lathe /machinery operator.

Machine products with high quality finish to the dimensions supplied in the drawings.

Capability to look at a damaged /worn product, take relevant dimensions and re-produce new component.

Key duties/responsibilities:

• Machine products with high quality finish to the dimensions supplied in the drawings.
• Capability to look at a damaged /worn product, take relevant dimensions and re-produce new component.
• Work in an effective and efficient manner.

Skills required:

• Manual operation of Lathes, milling machines etc found in engineering workshop.
