Location: Romford

Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm/6pm (on rotation), Saturday 7am-3.30pm - Minimum of 1 x Saturday per month

Overview of the company and role: 

• Yard Manager position
• Staff management
• Product quality control

Key duties/responsibilities:

• Morning staff meetings to distribute information
• Keeping check on staffs' punctuality and break times
• Maintaining Health and Safety of staff and visitors
• Weekly stock and site and bin checks
• Quality control of products incoming/outgoing
• Reporting damage/faults on machinery
• Overseeing staff productivity and quality of service
• Communicate with office and management staff on a professional level
• Must be hands on with all jobs and work alongside yard staff
• Instruct staff to load materials in to the correct bins/vehicle/container
• Advise on servicing of machines
• Open and close yard (key holder)
• Checking cleanliness of site and material bins
• Recorded site checks
• Staff job distribution
