Yesterday the recycling community came together to celebrate our wonderful industry on Global Recycling Day.
BMRA has long supported the Global Recycling Foundation (GRF) and its Recycling Heroes competition, which recognises ten people and five Young Ambassadors who have promoted the value of recycling through amazing initiatives.
GRF's founding president, Ranjit S Baxi. said of the list of winners: "Not only does it demonstrate the enthusiasm and ingenuity of our winners, but the special category of Young Green Ambassadors … demonstrates that our young people today, who are the leaders of tomorrow, are showcasing the way forward and recognising the importance of recycling to protect our fragile planet."
