BMRA members are invited to contribute to the upcoming report, UK Metals Council State of the Metals Industry in the UK 2025/2026, conducted by the UK Metals Council. 

The report will be launched at the UK Metals Expo - 11-12 September at the Birmingham NEC. 

This report continues to raise the profile of the UK Metals Council (UKMC), of which BMRA is a member, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges facing the sector. It also showcases the critical contribution of our industry to the UK economy, including its role in GDP, manufacturing, employment, the circular economy, sustainability, skills development, and progress toward net zero.

The UKMC is committed to enhancing this contribution through informed policy interventions and by supporting greater re-shoring of metal industry activity.

We’re calling on all industry voices to take part in our national industry survey, helping us build a stronger, evidence-based picture of our sector’s opportunities and challenges.
