Scrap metal recycling| Class 2 Loader Driver

A metal recycling company based in Redditch, currently has an immediate vacancy for a Class 2 Loader Driver.s.

Role details:

• Sector: Metal recycling

• Location: Redditch

• Pay rate: £15.50 per hour

• Hours: 7.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime

• Employer: BMRA member (recruitment handled via Staffed Group)

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver skips to designated customer and site locations safely and on time

• Carry out pre-treatment and pre-use inspections and maintain vehicle safety

• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections and vehicle checks

• Assist the team with yard duties when not driving

• Support wider yard operations, including forklift work for candidates who hold a valid FLT licence

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card

• Previous hook loader experience preferred

• Experience within metal recycling, waste or similar environments is an advantage

• Knowledge of the Birmingham and Worcestershire area would be useful but is not essential
