Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm, Monday-Friday (plus overtime, inc Weekends)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and organised Weighbridge Operator to join our busy metal recycling operation.
This is a key front-line role ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing materials at our site.

Key duties/responsibilities:
- Recording of incoming and outgoing material
- Administration and coordination of all weighbridge operations
- Daily scheduling of transport
- Liaison with Operations, Commercial and Admin departments
- Daily reporting of incoming/outgoing tonnages to Management
- Ensure the working area is kept in a clean and tidy state at all times
- Perform such other duties as the Company may from time to time reasonably require
- Comply with all Company policies related to Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety and Community
- Foster and promote a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement within the organisation
- Attend any training courses required by the company
- Liaise between functions to ensure teamwork, consistency, coordination and best practice to eliminate losses from poor practices or communication and to expedite learning.
Skills required:
- Experience in a similar weighbridge, recycling, or logistics role is preferred
- Excellent communication and keyboard skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Confident level of numeracy
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven track record of working within a team environment
- Proven ability to adhere to safety procedures whilst fulfilling daily duties
- Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable
- Organisational skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, willing to ask for assistance when needed
