The Environment Agency's Deputy Director, Waste and Resources Regulation, Chris Deed, will make the keynote address at the upcoming BMRA Conference 2026.

Mr Deed, who met with BMRA on a recent site visit, will discuss how the industry and the EA can work together to enable a more proportionate, risk-based regulatory framework.

The site visit is summarised in March/April's edition of Scrapbook (login required).

The BMRA will announce more speakers over the coming months, as issues arise that affect the industry.

The BMRA Conference 2026 will take place on Thursday 10 September at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon, Warwickshire.

The conference will explore the issues most relevant to BMRA member businesses—from day‑to‑day operations to the major challenges and opportunities on the horizon. Whether your interests are technical, legislative, regulatory, or environmental, the conference will provide valuable insights into the matters shaping our industry.

A full agenda will be shared in due course.

The BMRA Secretariat will be available throughout the day to answer questions and support members.

All attendees will also enjoy access to the renowned British Motor Museum, home to the world's largest collection of historic British cars.

Delegate attendance is £50 + VAT per person (includes lunch and full museum access).
