BMRA will be holding another general data protection regulation seminar for members on Wednesday 28 February 2018, at the British Plastics Federation (BPF) in London.

The session, which runs between 10.00am and 12.00pm, will be held at the BPF's offices at BPF House, 6 Bath Place, Rivington Street, London, EC2A 3JE.

As you should be aware, the General Data Protection Regulation comes into effect on 25 May this year. Under the regulation, all business will need to take steps to ensure they are taking the correct steps to protect the personal data they hold on file. Given the importance of this regulation to its members, BMRA will be repeating a GDPR workshop delivered by Mariel Irvine, a solicitor, qualified data protection practitioner and trusted advisor to the scrap metal industry. Mariel will outline what the law means for the sector and facilitate a discussion about what changes you may need to make to your businesses.

This workshop is FREE for members. If you would like to attend or require further information, please contact Lyn or call 01480 455249.
