The BMRA has been informed of the sad passing of Stanley Hill on 25th November 2025 aged 90.

Until 1994, Stanley was MD of Coopers Metals and was well known and liked within the industry.

He proudly served as the British Scrap Federation (latterly the British Metals Foundation) president and was also involved with BIR. 

The funeral is being held at Kingsdown Crematorium Swindon on 15 December. No flowers please but any donations to Parkinson's UK would be welcome.
