What does your job involve? Buying and selling non-ferrous metals.

What is the hardest part of your job? Time difference, as the UK market doesn't wait for prices, or anything in that matter!

What three things help you to do your job better? My colleagues, that first cuppa in the morning, and trust.

What are you most proud of in your career? I should say the walk I did as it raised so much money for a great charity (Craig walked from Adversane, West Sussex to BMRA HQ in Huntingdon over a bank holiday weekend, raising nearly £4,000 for MIND, the mental health charity). But it would have to be, where I am now. I didn't think I'd get this far in the industry and this is just the beginning!

What are the best and worst things about the metals recycling sector?

Best: How much we all care about the recycled metals industry and the people from all walks of life you meet along the way.

Worst: Lithium-ion batteries - the bane of everyone’s life across the entire recycling industry.

What is the best advice you have ever received? Might sound cheesy to some, but my dad always says, keep your feet on the ground and reach for the stars son!
