TRENNSO-TECHNIK GmbH and Engineering Services Bridgend Ltd

BMRA service members, TRENNSO-TECHNIK GmbH and Engineering Services Bridgend Ltd, are pleased to announce the opening of a new Test Facility for Recycling Material at Engineering Services Bridgend Facility.

The center opened in December 2023 and offers UK customers the ability to run tests with material on separating machines made by Trennso-Technik. Additionally there is the opportunity to rent machines and modules to test their material on their site, to guarantee maximum process safety and feasibility.

TRENNSO-TECHNIK GmbH is a family-run engineering company based in Bavaria/Germany. The company offers pioneering solutions in the field of process engineering for Recycling, Food Industry and Bulk Materials processing. All machines and complete systems are custom made and tailored to customer requirements. Innovative dry sorting technology paired with robust construction has lead to more than 35 years successfully providing separating solutions for worldwide customers.

The test-center will house a series of TRENNSO-TECHNIK’s high-quality density sorting machines including wind sifter and screening technology, alongside solutions for milling, conveying and dosing technology.

In particular the test center includes:

  • SIK Screens
  • TTS Air Table
  • TTS Zig Zag sifter
  •  TTS ZZ SIFTER

The machines have been selected to be able to offer single separation tests or simple process tests. This will allow customers to gather results data offering the confidence to move their recovery and refining projects forward.

Markus Riggenmann, Managing Director TRENNSO-TECHNIK, has observed that the shipping of waste material from the UK to TRENNSO-TECHNIK’s primary location in Bavaria/Germany, was becoming extremely difficult. Environment Agency permissions and European Customs authorities make the shipping of recyclable test material increasingly complicated and time consuming. This situation has delayed and slowed the forward momentum of UK recycling projects and solution growth in the circular economy. The aim to provide easy access to a professional testing facility for the Recycling Industry has resulted in the new collaboration between the two companies to offer testing on a small scale here in the UK.

The test center will offer customers the ability to test material like:

  • Copper PVC Arisings
  • Recovered fuel refining techniques
  • Glass Materials
  • Wood and recovered timber material
  • Trommel Fines and residues from Commercial and demolition wastes
  • Incinerator Bottom Ash Metals
  • Automotive shredder residues and many more.

All enquiries regarding possible tests and availability should be addressed to Jerry Stephens, (TRENNSO-TECHNIK UK Sales Manager) or Howard Sterio (Engineering Services Bridgend Ltd UK Sales Manager). These experts and the new testing facility open new opportunities for sustainable and economical solutions in Recycling and Bulk Goods processing.
