BMRA member, Ward, has appointed Denise Banks as Head of Sales (Waste) to drive commercial growth across its Industrial and Commercial (I&C) waste services operations.

Having worked in the waste industry for more than 35 years Denise has a wealth of expertise gathered from commercial roles within successful SME regional waste firms, as well as multi-national waste providers. She brings extensive experience in growing waste management sales and a passionate, customer-centric focus to the role.

On her appointment, Denise commented: “I’m really excited to join the Ward team. Throughout my long career in waste management to date, I’ve admired them afar, as a long-established, well-respected provider and an innovative, independent family business. There is an ambitious growth strategy and a clear commitment to delivering an excellent full-service offering for their valued customers - that’s what really attracted me to the business. It’s a privilege to join and bring skills and experience that can support them in the next stage of their growth plan.” 

Key responsibilities will include strengthening and building a high-performing sales team, improving customer retention and supporting key account management to deliver long-term value for Ward’s business waste collection and compaction customers.
