Do you have contractors on your site?

Can they demonstrate recognised health and safety competence?

CIWM, in collaboration with the BMRA, is making it easier for metal recycling yards and sites to validate the health and safety competency of individuals who visit and work on their sites as contractors.

The Metal Recycling Contractor Competency Scheme (MRCCS) provides evidence of individual capability and competency, enabling organisations to quickly and easily check that contractors have the required health and safety skills, training, and awareness to work on a site in the metal recycling sector. This will lead to improved health and safety in the workplace and reduce the risk of accidents occurring on site.

Learn more about the scheme by attending a webinar on 6 September at 10:00am until 11:00am.  The booking link is available here.
